The horns are back in town. Way Down @ It’s Still A Secret is Bullhorn’s fifth Music Video from their Live On Location series where beautiful locations in their home city of Brisbane, Australia are showcased to their wider audience.

For this release Bullhorn is located at Brisbane’s home for independent live music, It’s Still A Secret (ISAS) in South Brisbane. The venue's music room features a uniquely welcoming aesthetic that is both vintage, funky and homely all at once.

The single, Way Down, will be featured on Bullhorn’s upcoming album to be released in 2024. The track and clip opens with the horns playing a tight boom bap pocket over which Roman MC
soon begins to wax lyrical with a smooth and steady 90’s flow, but there is something in the water. The lyrical content begins in a slick, conscious avenue but quickly evolves into a confession of
mental health struggle, and a sobering check in to the listener. Roman speaks to the ‘thirsty in a storm’ unpacking ideas of chronic disconnection in the modern smartphone era, the trappings of
social media algorithms which have lead so many ‘way down’ to cyclic pits of despair.

With tight rap verses, wailing chorus vocals and explosive horn hits (including a killer Tenor
Saxophone solo by the legendary Andrew Ball), ‘Way Down’ is a head-nodding, honest and hopeful call to reclaim one’s mental health on a path of resistance, reconnection and vulnerability in the late tech and post-pandemic era.
